We are seeking an experienced Junior Level Manual QA Tester to join our team in Azerbaijan. Since the team primarily works on web applications—both backend and frontend—you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. This means testing complex web applications, validating APIs, checking UI functionality, and making sure integrations work as expected. Key Responsibilities
Manually testing web applications, covering both backend (APIs) and frontend (UI, logic, and API integrations).
Writing and executing test cases to make sure everything functions as it should.
Finding and reporting bugs, then working with developers to get them fixed.
Checking API responses, database interactions, and system integrations to ensure stability.
Reviewing system specifications to ensure full test coverage.
Collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to improve the overall quality of our software.
Keeping track of testing progress and providing updates to the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester, preferably working on web applications.
A solid understanding of software testing principles and best practices.
Experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or Swagger.
A keen eye for UI details and the ability to spot inconsistencies.
Familiarity with browser dev tools for debugging frontend issues.
Basic SQL knowledge for checking data in databases.
Experience using test case management and bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Confluence.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
