We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team at Guavapay (Remote). In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports our payment solutions, APIs, and internal systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fintech, payments infrastructure, and simplifying complex technologies for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Guavapay’s products, APIs, SDKs
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for developers, clients
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, compliance, and customer support teams to gather accurate information
Ensure all documentation is aligned with our brand voice, is easy to navigate, and stays up-to-date with product updates
Write internal guides and knowledge base articles to support payment flows, card issuing, and acquiring
Contribute to improving documentation processes, tooling, and structure for scalability and localization
Requirements & Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or API-driven products
Strong understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, payment flows, and data structures
Exceptional written English communication skills
Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Docusaurus, Markdown, Git, or similar
Ability to work independently, manage multiple documentation projects, and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with a passion for clarity and user experience
Solid knowledge of REST APIs and familiarity with OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications is highly desirable
