Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Payment Systems Analyst with expertise in international payment systems, financial transaction standards, and secure technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, familiarity with 3-DSv2 Secure technology and PCI DSS standards, and proficiency in Linux and containerization platforms. This role involves analyzing problematic operations, conducting log analysis, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze problematic operations within international payment systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of transaction logs to detect anomalies, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation detailing system configurations, transaction workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate closely with merchants to address payment-related concerns, provide technical support, and optimize transaction performance.
• Utilize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analytical purposes, including join operations, grouping, and query plan analysis.
• Implement and maintain IT process monitoring systems such as Zabbix and Grafana to ensure system stability and performance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in XML/JSON formats and utilize tools like Postman for API testing and integration.
• Apply knowledge of payment system principles, including acquiring and emission, to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
• Develop a deep understanding of 3-DSv2 Secure technology and ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards to uphold security protocols and protect sensitive data.
• Leverage Linux expertise to manage system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance at the operating system level.
• Familiarity with containerization platforms like Openshift and Kubernetes to deploy and manage scalable payment system environments.
• Possess strong documentation skills to articulate technical concepts, system architectures, and operational procedures effectively.
• Additional knowledge of SmartVista and EPG platforms would be advantageous in supporting specialized payment processing requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in payment systems analysis, preferably in a financial or banking environment.
• Proficiency in SQL query writing, data analysis, and database management.
• Strong understanding of international payment systems, financial transaction standards (ISO8583), and secure technologies.
• Familiarity with 3-DSv2 Secure technology, PCI DSS standards, and Linux operating systems.
