Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic-minded individual to assume the role of the CEO for GuavaPay's operations in Singapore. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations in Singapore, including strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate efforts to secure a regulatory license in Singapore.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion in Singapore.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains agile and responsive to market dynamics.
- Oversee the financial performance of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the Head of Business Development to develop initiatives to acquire new clients and expand GuavaPay's customer base in Singapore.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, merchants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in Singapore.
- Implement robust risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the integrity and security of GuavaPay's operations and assets.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven track record of executive leadership and strategic management, preferably in the fintech or payments industry.
- Deep understanding of the Singapore financial services market, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate market trends, and drive innovation.
- Fluency in Malay and English.
