The Role

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Global Expansion & Licensing Manager

with proven experience in regulatory licensing and compliance within the fintech and payments space. This individual will play a critical role in supporting Guavapay’s global expansion, contributing to the launch of new entities and products across international markets.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Law, or a related field; MBA or LLM is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in expansion or licensing roles within fintech, payments, or crypto-related companies.
• Demonstrated experience working on licensing applications (e.g., MSO, EMI) and regulatory submissions.
• Experience in drafting business plans for launching operations in new jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks for cross-border payments, remittance, and foreign exchange services.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and jurisdictions.
• Fluency in English is required; Russian is a big plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution for new market entries and office openings worldwide. Support regulatory license applications (e.g., MSO, EMI, PSP, VASP) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain business plans and compliance documentation aligned with local requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Engage with local consultants, advisors, and regulators to facilitate licensing and business setup.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on Guavapay’s business model and expansion roadmap

• Contractual Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• Contract Type: Service agreement
