The Role:
We are looking for an experienced System Analyst with expertise in payment card transaction processing (both issuing and acquiring) to join our team. You will play a key role in developing IT solutions for online transaction processing that meet business requirements and payment system standards. You will collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other teams to translate business requirements into functional system specifications understandable by developers and support development and QA teams throughout the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for designing and implementing solutions aligned with business goals
- Analyze the requirements of international payment schemes and global standards related to card issuing, acquiring, and transaction processing
- Create detailed application process descriptions, data flows, sequence diagrams, and other artifacts defining system capabilities for developers
- Develop API interfaces based on business requirements, when needed
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the development, delivery, testing, and deployment of new modules and enhancements
- Participate in certifications with international payment schemes
- Assist in creating/updating user manuals, operational documentation, and other project/client documentation, as needed
- Identify potential business solutions and assess associated risks and issues
About You
You are an analytical, detail-oriented professional with 3–6 years of experience in system analysis for card transaction processing. You have strong IT skills, understand integration patterns, and thrive in international, fast-paced environments..
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification/experience, with 3+ years as a business and/or system analyst in payment card transaction processing
- Deep understanding of online payment protocols (Visa Base I, Mastercard CIS, etc.) and industry standards (PCI DSS, EMVCo, etc.)
- Strong IT skills and a comprehensive understanding of development processes as a system analyst
- Confident understanding of integration patterns and principles
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking
- Understanding of modern approaches to designing high-load, fault-tolerant systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with other system analysts, development teams, and stakeholders
- Reverse engineering skills are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical participants
- Russian: Native or Proficient
- English level — B2 or higher

- Proficiency with UML, BPMN, Archimate, or other modeling notations
- Experience with SQL/PL SQL, Swagger, Postman, and basic coding (C, C++, Java, Python)
- Knowledge of online payment protocols and industry standards

- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently
