The Role:
We are looking for a well-organized Business Analyst with expertise in card issuing and/or acquiring to join our team. You will play a key role in developing IT solutions for processing systems that meet business requirements.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across business and operations — from the research phase of new initiatives to their delivery together with development teams — clarifying and documenting product requirements and supporting development teams throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define business services related to card issuing/acquiring and customer servicing
- Identify internal business services provided by various departments to support issuing/acquiring and customer servicing
- Work with different business units and stakeholders to collect their requirements
- Document and review existing business processes, suggest possible improvements, and describe target business processes
- Develop business data models describing issuing/acquiring and customer servicing domains
- Analyze the requirements of international payment schemes and global standards related to card issuing and acquiring
- Participate in certifications with international payment schemes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the development, delivery, and deployment of new modules and enhancements to existing software
- Contribute to defining requirements for user interfaces and APIs
- Prepare presentations and other analytical materials, presenting them to stakeholders
About You
You have experience as a Business/System Analyst in card issuing/acquiring or payment processing. You are detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and thrive in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Experience:
- Higher education in Computer Science or equivalent qualification and/or experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- English level — B2 or higher
- Strong knowledge of card issuing/acquiring, and payment industry, including business models, functional and technical processes, regulatory requirements, industry standards, operational and financial procedures
- Strong analytical skills to identify business needs and requirements
- Excellent IT skills and a solid understanding of software development processes as a Business Analyst
- Experience with UML, ArchiMate, BPMN, or other modeling notations
- Ability to self-organize and build effective relationships across the business
- Readiness to work in an international and multicultural environment
