The Role

We are looking for a Middle KYC Onboarding Specialist to join our growing Compliance team in the United States. In this role, you’ll play a key part in onboarding new clients, conducting due diligence, and supporting the wider Financial Crime function with investigations and transaction reviews.

This is a hands-on position where your attention to detail and knowledge of AML/KYC will help keep our ecosystem clean, compliant, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer onboarding reviews (individuals and businesses) in line with internal KYC/AML policies

• Review submitted documents and perform risk assessments based on jurisdiction, source of funds, business activities, etc.

• Monitor and investigate alerts for unusual activity, escalating as appropriate

• Support internal SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) investigations and submit reports where necessary

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Transaction Monitoring, Product, Operations, Legal)

• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready KYC files

• Stay up to date with changing regulatory requirements and internal procedures

About You

You're meticulous, curious, and proactive. You enjoy diving into details, spotting inconsistencies, and ensuring full compliance. You understand the balance between risk and customer experience, and you're motivated by a fast-moving fintech environment.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–3 years of experience in a KYC, onboarding, or compliance role (fintech or financial services preferred)

• Solid understanding of U.S. AML/KYC regulations and onboarding processes

• Strong analytical and investigation skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field (preferred)

• Contract Type: Permanent

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (local time zone)

• Location: United States (hybrid work model)
