Role Overview:
The Head of Data Analytics will be responsible for driving the data strategy, overseeing the analytics team, and partnering with cross-functional departments to harness data for strategic decision-making. You will focus on building advanced analytics models, running ETL/ELT processes, managing data warehousing, ensuring data quality, and using data to uncover actionable insights that drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Data Analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals.
- Design and implement robust data infrastructure to support large-scale data analysis, including running up and managing the company’s Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Oversee ETL and ELT processes to ensure smooth data flow and integration across systems.
- Leverage data visualization tools to create dynamic reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Establish data governance protocols to ensure accuracy, quality, and security of all data collected and analyzed.
- Deliver actionable insights to senior management through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance the analytics capabilities of the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, Data Warehousing (setup, maintenance, and optimization), and data governance.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R
- Deep understanding of fintech products, banking systems, and financial services data.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and data mining.
