Junior Accountant Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Junior Accountant Specialist to join our Finance team in Baku. In this role, you will be responsible for the processing and recording of daily transactions in the accounting system, performing periodic reconciliations between accounts and fulfilling other ad-hoc requests of the management. Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software;
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses;
• Daily journal creation of operating bank transactions;
• Preparation of the reconciliation acts;
• Reconcile deposit balances between Core banking system and ERP;
• Post journal entries and update the general ledger;
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities;
• Perform other management's ad-hoc requests.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the relevant position;
• Bachelor degree in the area of Finance, Economics, Accounting etc.;
• ACCA, CIMA or similar certification is an advantage (at least FA/ACCA or BA3/CIMA paper must be passed);
• Fluent Azerbaijani, intermediate English language skills. Knowledge of Russian language is an advantage.
